Overview
The University Athletic Association, Inc. (UAA) is responsible for the intercollegiate athletics program at the University of Florida. The Athletics Director, Jeremy Foley, reports directly to the President of the University, Dr. Bernie Machen, and retains overall responsibility for the health and stability of the program. In addition, the UAA is governed by a Board of Directors who provide guidance and direction through approval of policies, procedures and the budget. The UAA has developed a mission statement that was adopted by the Board of Directors to provide goals and objectives in the development and delivery of the athletics program at the University of Florida. This "vision" provides the road map for the University’s commitment to be second to none in the area of intercollegiate athletics.
